Since 2013, Santa Mark and Mrs. Cheryl Claus have visited children's hospitals and hospice patients in the Dallas /Ft. Worth area, providing gifts on our own, and some donated items from friends. Observing the emotional and financial strain so many families endure, we saw the need to expand and better provide for children and families during their most difficult time. In 2018 we formed St. Nicholas Children's Charities, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. The generosity of individuals and the business community has allowed us to help many more families. We can now provide hundreds of toys and games to local children's hospitals at Christmas time and throughout the year. We assist families by providing gift cards for meals and gasoline, and sponsor lodging through RMDH Ft. Worth.
What sets us apart from other charitable organizations whos focus is one specific condition, St. Nicholas Children's Charities is dedicated to helping any qualifying family who has a critically ill, terminally ill or disabled child. A sick child is a sick child. Having a broad focus allows us to impact more families.
